Provably fair

Five coins, one face wins

Coin Duel

Five coins are tossed at once. Pick the face — sun or moon — that lands on more of them.

At a glance

How a round works

  1. Pick a face

Put a chip on SUN or MOON — check which one is priced better first.

  2. Toss the five

Five fair flips, drawn from a blockchain block nobody can lean on.

  3. Majority wins

Three of five is enough, and five coins can never split evenly.

What is in it

Full rules and detail5 steps

Five coins get tossed, and every coin has a SUN on one side and a MOON on the other. Back the face you think will land on more of them — three out of five is enough, and because five is an odd number it can never be a tie, so every stake resolves. Both faces are priced fresh every round, between 1.89× and 1.99×, so one side is often paying a little better than the other — and because those prices average exactly 1.94×, the return to player is exactly 97%. The same five coins are also a fight: two duelists trade the damage, a lopsided round hurts more, and a worn-down shield breaks and doubles it. You start with a Rs 50,000 demo bankroll.

How to play

  1. Put a chip on SUN or MOON — whichever face you think will land on more of the five coins. Check the prices first: both faces are priced fresh each round and you have 20 seconds.
  2. Toss the coins. Five fair flips from a blockchain block decide it, and the face that lands on more of them wins the round. Three out of five is enough.
  3. Your bet settles straight away at whatever price was on the button when you backed it. Five coins cannot split evenly, so there is never a tie and never a refund — you always get an answer.
  4. The score is also the damage: 3–2 costs the loser 1 life, 4–1 costs 3, and a 5–0 clean sweep costs 5.
  5. Every coin thrown at a fighter chips their shield. Once a shield drops under a third, a 4–1 or 5–0 smashes through it and does double damage. First fighter to zero loses.
